How to modify the base schema using Schemaprof from Koblenz University:

  1. Starting a new AP (based on release 4.4.2 of Schemaprof - June 2006)

  5. Advanced feature: Using additional constraint using external vocabulary file as an alternative to the previous conditional modification (based on release 4.4.2 of Schemaprof - June 2006)

Deprecated part of the tutorial (old release 4.0.1 of Schemaprof):
Starting a new AP
Adding a cardinality modification with an annotation
Adding a new vocabulary list for an attribute

How to produce derived schema

How to build the Application Profile using Apple SchemaTransformTool plug-in for Schemaprof:

  1. Using the Apple SchemaTransformTool Plugin for Schemaprof

How to create instances, build content

How to build a new eportfolio instance using this AP with CRT from Bolton University:

  1. Deploying your AP in CRT
  2. Creating a new instance using CRT
  3. Setting a Content Package AP in CRT to be able to use the CP edition feature
  4. Using advanced CP edition feature of CRT with ePortfolio
  5. Create a configuration file for Content Packaging edition (new, based on last release of CRT v2.3.2)

How to test conformance and analyze results

How to test your instance using the Telcert Test System from The OpenGroup:

  1. Uploading your AP (using Test System 1.4)
  2. Uploading your instance (using Test System 1.4)
  3. Setting a new test session (using Test System 1.4)
  4. Launching the session and seeing results (using Test System 1.4)
  5. Full scenario : creating a bad content package with several errors (related to packaging, xml file structure and the application profile itself) and test it with the test system (using Test System 1.3) (5,8 Mb flash file, be patient...)
