Project Description

iVisit
Project resources

The lead objective of the development is to make iVisit compliant as a video stand alone module with iLearning and collaborative platforms.

For that purpose, we are working on external links materialised as tiny text files, .ivb format to be easily integrated into iLearning modules so that users can easily contact each other and join online virtual meeting place (room) by a simple click.

In that way, iVisit is leading a study on the SCORM project.

As a case study, a SCORM environment has been created on iVisitfr.com server.

Before you can join this place, you will need to ask for a free activation code and create your account on iVisitfr.com server.

To do that simply open your browser to this link.

iVisit is offered as a tiny Terminal (1Mo) you can download for your Mac or PC:

Mac Version: [Download]
Win32 Version: [Download]

After setting up your account and installing the terminal you can join SCORM videoconferencing hall by clinking this link:

You can see this link points out to an .ivb file which is the Mime Type of the iVisit application. You can store this file locally on your desktop to easily join rooms or contact users or publish it online.

This .ivb file contains some arguments that you can change: edit the file with your favorite text editor and see what it contains:
