Supporting work based learning in large retailers using e-portfolios
The challenge was to deliver foundation degrees nationally to the UK’s largest retailer Tesco where participants only have 2 days face to face support each term, linking multiple universities with one e-portfolio system for both reflective learning and also structured assessment for individual units of the online degree. This was further complicated by the use of different VLEs by the universities, and the need to offer a consistent high quality user experience to all participants.
