iLearning Forum Paris 2007: second press release

The European eQuality awards will take place at iLearning Forum 2007 for best use of information technology in support of learning and competence development in Europe.
iLearning Forum Paris will take place on the 29, 30 and 31 January 2007 at the Palais des Congrès de Paris, and has already become the world’s leading francophone eLearning event. The show is the meeting place and annual networking event for the leading professionals in Life-long learning, human resources, employee development and Education. Over 5000 visitors and delegates will get together to share the latest breakthroughs in learning technologies, methods and tools for managing human capital. Access to the conference and exhibition is reserved for professionals in order to maintain the quality of networking and dialogue.
During the 2nd Edition of iLearning Forum Paris, EFQUEL (European Foundation for Quality in E-Learning) will present the annual Learning eQuality awards during a gala dinner on the 30th of January. The prize-winners will be those organisations having demonstrated the highest quality of innovative use of learning technologies in support of learning and development. The call for award candidates can be found on the conference website.
According to Serge Ravet, managing Director and VP of EIfEL, “The aim of the eQuality award is to raise awareness of the fabulous possibilities that new technologies offer the quality of the 21st century learning process – a whole new generation of tools is now available and we want their full potential to be understood”
Under the banner of Quality, professionals and experts will be able to attend a wide series of conferences, round tables, workshops and briefings that showcase the latest and greatest in eLearning. On the 29th January there will be pre-conference workshops for beginners and experts alike, followed by the exhibition and international conference on the 30th and 31st January
“To date, the 2007 edition of iLearning Forum Paris is experiencing significant growth, thanks to the partnership with EIfEL”, said Sally Ann Moore the event founder and director. “Year on year visitor and delegate registrations has doubled and exhibition space is up by 40% - all last years exhibitors are returning in force. The call for papers has yielded excellent results with submissions from leading international practioners and experts”
For both visitors and delegates a live presentation area will be situated on the exhibition floor, featuring a series of free demonstrations, presentations, case studies and examples in French. The main international conference programme and registration is now available on the website (www.ilearningforum.eu) and will be updated as submissions are accepted by the expert conference committee.
The cost of workshops and conferences varies from 150€ to 750€ depending on selected options (one to three day packages) and discounts for groups, EIfEL members and early booking.
