LoD-EIfEL Partnership

EIfEL and Stanford Research Institute - Businesss Intelligence (SRI-BI) have signed a partnership to allow EIfEL coporate members to join the Learning on Demand (LoD) Program, a "global knowledge network" of thought leaders and early adopters of eLearning. Following the Partnership agreement, EIfEL Corporate Members are entitled to a significant discount on the regular $20,000 annual fee that would be paid when registering directly with SRI-BI.

What is Learning on Demand?

The Learning on Demand (LoD) Program is a "global knowledge network" of thought leaders and early adopters of eLearning supported by Stanford Research Institute - Businesss Intelligence (SRI-BI).

LoD helps its members to explore and exploit opportunities through workshops, one-to-one discussions and research reports.

LOD provides consultation and support through presentations, participation in member's events, assistance with white papers, and specific research by SRIC-BI research staff. Reports, bulletins, travel reports, and presentations are available to members on the web and in hard copy. Topics cover a wide range of important issues for both users and vendors of eLearning and result from consultation with members of the service.

LoD participation provides

1. REPORTS

A series of detailed Reports will be available annually. These reports provide sponsors with analysis of the development of technologies and their use, application, and implementation for LoD, the markets, and the competition.

2. BULLETINS

Reviews of topical issues that relate to LoD and fast-breaking news.

3. TRAVEL REPORTS

Annually, LoD may issue occasional Travel Reports telling of interesting developments and findings resulting from the travel of the LoD research team.

SRIC-BI will send all program deliverables automatically in hard copy (five copies each). We will also enable sponsors to access LoD’s Web site. It will provide searching and full text of all LoD publications. Sponsors will receive a corporate password account to access SRIC-BI’s Web site.

4. EXECUTIVE WORKSHOP

Presentations and discussions with the SRIC-BI team and other industry leaders and opportunities for interaction with sponsor companies

5. CONSULTATION

Direct access to SRIC-BI project team members by phone, fax, or e-mail for responses to specific questions and for information, opinions, and confidential inquiries or discussions about topics of particular interest to the sponsor. Sponsorship provides up to two days of access annually.

How to join?

When registering through EIfEL, thanks to the partnership agreement with SRI-BI, EIfEL Corporate Members are entitled to a significant discount on the regular $20,000 annual fee that would be paid when registering directly with SRI-BI.
