Call for Papers:Special Issue on Electronic Portfolios by eifel — last modified 24-08-2007 17:22
This is a call for papers for a special issue of CJLT on Electronic Portfolios to be published in Volume 31, Issue 3 (Fall 2005). This special issue will examine, from scholarly, practical, and technical perspectives, critical issues in the development and use of electronic portfolios. The underlying theme of the issue will explore how electronic portfolios support student-centered learning, authentic assessment, accessibility, and life-long learning, among others.

The ePortfolio Austria organising committee invites all policy makers, teachers, eLearning-trainers, education managers, human resource managers, school heads, school administrators, ICT providers, LMS/CMS developers and members of organisations promoting the use of electronic portfolios or similar tools to submit their contribution to the event. The conference targets predominantely a German-speaking audience. However since experts in this fields are invited from abroad, translation facilities will be provided. EIfEL and Stanford Research Institute - Businesss Intelligence (SRI-BI) have signed a partnership to allow EIfEL coporate members to join the Learning on Demand (LoD) Program, a "global knowledge network" of thought leaders and early adopters of eLearning. Following the Partnership agreement, EIfEL Corporate Members are entitled to a significant discount on the regular $20,000 annual fee that would be paid when registering directly with SRI-BI.
