EFQUEL Conference Berlin

Innovation for Quality in eLearning, 29-30 November, 2005, Berlin

The European Foundation for Quality in eLearning (EFQUEL) is pleased to announce the first Innovation for Quality in eLearning Conference to be held on 29-30 November, 2005 in Berlin, prior to Online Educa Berlin. Join us to explore key issues in quality – from quality policies to elearning futures and from accreditation of quality to quality for social inclusion.

EFQUEL is initially supported by the European Commission.

Conference Overview

Tuesday, 29 November: the EFQUEL Forum - Hotel Intercontinental Berlin

Morning Session: 9:00 to 14:15, including lunch – EFQUEL Member Forum

 

This event, which is free for members, is the first meeting of EFQUEL. It will enable members to meet each other and the Board, and give the opportunity to determine the future direction and activities of the Foundation.

 

Afternoon Session: 14:15 to 17:00: Open EFQUEL Forum

 

This session, which is also free of charge, is open to EFQUEL members and those interested in joining the Foundation. Delegates will be able to participate in the first meetings of EFQUEL’s special interest groups (SIGs)

 

Wednesday, 30 November: 1st Conference on Innovation for Quality in eLearning - DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung), Berlin

This conference, which is organised by EFQUEL, is open to all policy-makers, researchers and practitioners concerned with enhancing the quality of the learning experience through the use of ICT. The emphasis is on innovation and on how we can put in place a learning environment suitable for the 21st century. Keynote speakers will present a vision of eLearning for the future, while highly interactive parallel sessions will allow participants to explore practical ways of achieving and maintaining quality.

 

Conference fee for 30 November will be 150€
