The Institute is open to all companies and organisations wishing to participate in its activities. Companies and organisations have in EIfEL a key tool and resource to support the definition and implementation of an eStrategy for learning and the creation of a learning environment that promotes the development of the competencies of their employees and the enhancement of organisational performance. Becoming a Member or Sponsor of EIfEL, is also a way of making a public statement of support for best practice in learning.
EifEL organisational membership is offered at 750 €.
Sponsor Membership ranges from 3,000 € to 15,000 €, depending on the level of additional services required, such as training and consultancy, study subscriptions and access to events.
- An opportunity to engage in the whole range of Institute activities.
- Membership of Special Interest Groups and working groups on subjects of interest to Members.
- Access to resources to support group activities - EIfEL collaborative portal 'members only' area.
- Visibility for the Member – portal, publications, use of EIfEL and Europortfolio logos.
- Access to publications, proceedings, guides, studies and research outcomes.
- The outcomes of EIfEL's work on standardisation and interoperability of learning systems, such as:
- CV Transformation Web-service (commercial use free of charge for EIfEL and Europortfolio members)
- Access to Europortfolio and EFQUEL quality activities and resources.
- Discounts on training, events, publications and consultancy services – including support to respond to call for tenders

Sponsor Membership
Sponsor Membership is for organisations that require additional services from the institute. These may include, training and consultancy, subscription to special studies, free access to events, sponsorship of events and additional marketing. This kind of membership is adapted for organisations and public authorities that are looking for support for specific projects. Organisational memberships can also be combined e.g. for a region wishing to affiliate a number of training organisations.
Sponsor Membership range from 3,000 € to 15,000 €.
