Philippe Verstraete currently holds the position of Marketing and Communications Manager for the European Institute for E-Learning (EIfEL), where he is in charge of sales, client relations, operational marketing, internal and external communication, and event management. From a very diverse international living and learning background, Philippe has degrees in biotechnology, pedagogy, and eLearning; and is fluent in English, French and Italian. Before joining EIfEL he worked in Belgium for an international marketing group as data validation officer and international correspondent for the French validation team. Communication, networking and innovative technology are constants in his academic and professional development. He has also founded a regional user group, undertaken many online eLearning-oriented initiatives, and taken part in events, interest groups, online communities and eLearning research projects.
