GEARS

GEARS will improve competitiveness of SMEs by ensuring that senior / owner managers in engineering SMEs will be supported in developing strategic plans for their own companies that take account of management theories. This learning will be based on higher-level skill development but will be directly focused on immediate application to their own real business world and therefore will have an immediate direct effect on their competitiveness.

INFLOW (Informal Learning Opportunities in the Workplace) aims at promoting acquisition and recognition of key skills / core skills, especially in informal contacts and to develop sustainable partnerships of training, industry and accreditation bodies in the UK and transnationally, to create integrated approaches to recognition and validation.

POSILLIPO: Partnership Observation System for the Implementation of Lifelong Learning Initiatives and Policies

TELCERT

TELCERT is a Technology Enhanced Learning research and development project under the European Union's 6th Framework programme. Led by a consortium of eLearning providers, research and industry organisations, TELCERT will develop innovative software testing and conformance systems to assure interoperability in eLearning content and technology. eCreator est un projet de collaboration internationale. ECEPT

The ECEPT pilot project aiming the introduction in the VET system of the cooperative pedagogy method supported by e-learning technologies. The cooperative pedagogy is an excellent method to improve the social and professional skills of the youngsters like, communication skill, co-operational skill, problem solving skill, ICT skill, team working skill, group working skill etc.

Osmosys

The overall aim of the OSMOSYS project is to break the barriers between corporate, formal and informal learning by reviewing and introducing a context-based approach to modeling Adult Learning Centers (ALC) and a negotiated and integrated way to report learning results. ePortfolios are part of the explored solution.

European Portfolio Initiatives Coordination Committee was an eLearning project funded by the European Commission to define an interoperability framework for ePortfolios. EPICC work is now continued under the remit of Europortfolio (www.europortfolio.org), the European Consortium for the ePortfolio

SEEL

Supporting Excellence in E-Learning was a project funded by the European Commission to define a quality framework to help learning regions to become eLearning regions. The work of SEEL is now continued by EFQUEL the European Foundation for Quality in E-Learning (www.qualityfoundation.org).
