EFQUEL
EIfEL is a Founding Member of the European Foundation for Quality in E-Learning.
Mission and objectives
The mission of the Foundation is to enhance the Quality of Learning in Europe by providing Services through the relevant use of knowledge information and learning technologies.
The Foundation undertakes activities to:
- contribute to the quality of eLearning in Europe and provides leadership in this field
- promote the European diversity of quality approaches and services in the field of learning, education and training
- broaden the discussion and discourse on eLearning quality
- provide a single entry point for eLearning quality.
Membership benefits
Members of EIfEL can benefit from the services of the Foundation but without voting right. If you want to become a full member of the Foundation, you can join the join directly the European Foundation for Quality in eLearning!
EIfEL is currently leading two special interest groups (SIGs) for the Foundation:
- Quality Mark - define a European Quality Mark for quality in eLearning -Read more in the press release ...
- ePortfolio - explore how ePortfolios can contribute to quality of learning systems
Members of EIfEL are welcome to join these SIGs as well as the other SIGs.
EIfEL was also in charge of the organisation of the Quality and innovation conference, November 2005 in Berlin, in conjunction with Online Educa Berlin.
